It’s surely leisured and also uninteresting for privates to read about show results on this place. But in future I also will report sometimes about absolutely fabulous show highlights.

Absoljut Triumph Grandiva

In her youngest Diva was more a late developer and I by myself was also out of showing dogs for some years. So our first dog show in Luxembourg 2005 was a classical disaster. By the way let me say, please don’t give up showing your dog after some rebounds like this. Existing breed standards also allow judges preferences for a special type of dog inside breeds. It’s like in our daily real life; we also have preferences for special types of humans.

A dog show should be a day full of fun and experience for dogs and their owners – to meet friends and also an exchange of experiences. In this mind a show day is also a great remember, when your dog didn’t win – and at least also other breeders have beautiful dogs, do they?

But after this unspeakable disaster in Luxembourg Diva went fast to her junior championships.

One of this special highlights I talked about, was the Eurodog Show 2005 in Tulln, a chance to see excellent dogs from east and west – you will seldom have the chance to see more than 60 Kerrys on one show inside Europe. It was a big pleasure to meet friends and breeders from whole Europe again and Diva had one of her biggest successes in her young life to get placed as the only German (exile German) dog inside her class with V3. She was directly behind her half-sister “Absoljut Triumph Willy-Nilly Forrest Bell” on V2. Absoljut Triumph showed 5 dogs out of its cultivation on this show, and all dogs were placed in their classes – isn’t this a great success for this kennel?

Hopefully Diva results the same in the now starting open classes – but first of all we interrupt for a longer parental leave in summer 2006.

Vivien Braudag (Toscha)

Meanwhile Toscha developed to a real showdog, basicly the likes the show very much and she always knows exactly, what to do if she enters the ring. Especially her movement is exactly what I want to see with a Kerry.
She passed the junior class like a Sunday walk, every entered show a ticket, so the Junior Champion was done very quickly without any efforts.

Also the intermediate started very well. But now with the open class, it seems like I have a prefernce for late developers, we need to take some time off, as our sweety pie thinks about not growin older and to stay childish.

This dog has so much potential, but finally this needs to take a little more time. Although she wone some shows in 2009 with BOB – I’m not convinced about this results, and finally I should know my dogs best.

So we decided to take a longer show break with her. As the first litter in the life of a bitch, especially with a Kerry bitch, is always another big step in her development, physically also as psychically, Toscha gets mated with her next season, we’re awaiting in November 2009. About this I will naturely report with more details inside the breeding section of this page.

In 2010 than you all can see Toscha again inside the showring.

Dandy Black & Blue Darling – the year 2009

Darling is a real showgirl, pretty in nearly all circumstances. It’s always a pleassure, also to prepare this dog for the show, inside the ring than she is realy easy to handle.

As we got her very late in age, we only could enter her once for a show within the junior class, but this was the KfT Clubshow 2008 and she made it from the beginning on – so we went home with the Clubjuniorwinner 2008 – title.

So the next shows she started within the intermediate class, and from this moment on she never lost a show – minimum she made the ticket – but also the BOB sometimes.

Right now we passed the KfT-Clubshow 2009 very impressive. 25 Kerries were entered – a unusual high count of entries inside Germany. Also if finally 23 dogs realy started that day, Darling made it again – we went home with the titel Clubwinner 2009 also as with the BOB.

But now we need to start her preparation for the World Dog Show 2009, which will take place in Bratislava, the capital city of Slowakia.
